“Degree holder ka, bakit mas pinili mong gumawa at magbenta ng fuzzy wire crafts?”

I used to dream of becoming a flight attendant or working in a five-star hotel someday. I imagined myself wearing elegant uniforms, meeting different people, and building the career I once prayed for. I had everything planned out for my future.

But life doesn’t always follow the timeline we create for ourselves.

There came a point in my life where I felt emotionally drained and lost. I needed something that could somehow bring comfort back into my days. That’s when I started making fuzzy wire crafts. At first, it was only meant to be a hobby — a quiet little escape, something that helped me breathe during the days that felt too heavy.

Creating flowers out of fuzzy wires became my safe haven. Each bouquet carried pieces of my healing without people even noticing.

What started as a simple pastime slowly turned into something more. I never expected that the same hobby that helped me get through difficult days would eventually help me pay bills too. One order became two, then more people started appreciating the handmade pieces I created with love and patience.

And honestly, life humbled me in the most unexpected way.

I may not be working in an airport or a luxury hotel like I once dreamed of, but I found something just as meaningful. I found peace in creating. I found purpose in turning simple wires into something beautiful. And I found strength in building something on my own, one bouquet at a time.

Sometimes, success doesn’t look like the dream we originally had. Sometimes, it looks handmade. 🦋

There are nights when my hands sting from hot glue, when my back aches from hours of bending, and my room is left in quiet chaos —petals scattered, tools everywhere, and sleep pushed aside. This is the part no one really sees. The slow, patient work behind something that looks soft and effortless in the end.

And somewhere in between the exhaustion and the sleepless nights, I remind myself why I started. Because creating something with my own hands brings me a kind of peace. Because every bouquet I make carries a piece of me—my time, my effort, my care.

That is why I refuse to sell my handmade flowers cheap. Not because I want more, but because I know what it takes to create them. I know the small sacrifices hidden behind every detail, every petal shaped with intention.

These are not just flowers.
They are hours of work, quiet dedication, and love turned into something you can hold.

And I owe it to myself — and to my craft. 🦋💓
