Impromptu sunday formal weathering workshop with the boys of TINTA Hobby Paints and Gunpla peeps specially MCC guys at WeStudio.

Special thanks to Bon Carlo Ang, without his persistent inquiry about weathering, this wouldn't happen.

Super enjoy sharing with you my personal take on weathering effects.

Hopefully this will spark and ignite the interest of scale modelers in weathering effects of their models, specially mecha models.

For sure there will be round 2 of this workshop :).

Start of the tedious layering of skin tone painting.

This is second layer only out of, maybe infinite layers. Lol.

I use dilluted flesh tone acrylic from TINTA Hobby Paints to add lighter skin tone effect over the pink-ish skin texture.

Our Fundamentals of 3D Printing workshop / seminar was a success, and it wasn’t about being an expert on the field, it's about finally understanding where to start, because everyone starts somewhere.

Most of our participants started with little to no experience

We guided beginners through the basics; from understanding printers and software, to finding a niche and learning realistic costing from experience.

No rushing.
No pressure to turn it into a business overnight.
Just solid foundations and honest conversations.

What we talked about during the lecture:
- How 3D printing actually works
- Which printer makes sense (before spending money)
-What software fits your goals
-How to start small and not rush into business
- Real talk on costing, mistakes, and expectations

Plus, lots of beginner questions and honest answers.

If you’re new to 3D printing, this workshop was made for you.
