Give your skin some love during workdays. Here are some simple tips you can add to your routine to have beautiful, healthy skin all week long:
1. Drink plenty of water. Have a large water bottle beside you while working. You can also set an alarm on your phone or computer to remind you of your intake.
2. Apply sunblock on your face and body, especially on parts that are often exposed like arms and legs.
3. Use an umbrella when the sun is out! Wearing sunscreen lotion is good but isn't enough to block harmful UV rays.
4. Moisturize daily. It's a myth that you don't have to moisturize oily skin. By using a moisturizer, you’re helping your skin stay hydrated while reducing the appearance of oiliness. This is why you should moisturize regardless of whether you have oily or dry skin.
5. Avoid toners with harsh alcohols. They strip off your natural oils and makes your skin dry. Products with harsh alcohols and chemicals usually stings when you apply them and turns your face red. In worse conditions, they could burn and darken your skin. Go for calming, all-natural toners.
6. Do you like wearing lotions but hate the sticky feeling? Apply some after taking a shower, while your skin is still damp. This helps to lock in the most moisture.
7. Whether you wear makeup or not, don't forget to wash your face thoroughly yet gently to get rid of all the dirt and oil build-up on your skin.
