FEATURED BIKE: SURLY PREAMBLE

The Surly Preamble keeps things simple, but in a smart, well-balanced way. Its steel frame delivers a smooth, stable ride, especially on rough or mixed surfaces. It’s also versatile—wide tire clearance plus mounts for racks and fenders make it easy to set up for commuting or everyday rides.

We custom powdercoated this one in Signal Yellow, giving it a bright, eye-catching look that really stands out on the road. Overall, it’s a reliable, no-fuss bike that’s approachable but still capable.

FEATURED BIKE: THE PROJECT GRAVEL GRINDER

This Gravel Grinder came in for rustproofing and a much-needed component refresh. The frame stayed in its original color — no drastic changes — just a solid foundation protected from the inside out. What we focused on was giving the bike a new heartbeat. With the Shimano CUES 11-speed groupset, the ride instantly felt more modern and capable. The wide-range cassette — mountain bike style matched to a drop bar setup — delivers smoother climbs, better cadence control, and dependable shifting under load. Paired with Shimano SLX, braking became more consistent and confidence-inspiring, especially on faster sections and rougher roads.

To elevate the ride feel even further, we installed an Origin8 Carbon Wheelset, trimming weight and improving responsiveness. Acceleration feels quicker, and the bike carries speed more effortlessly. Wrapped in Panaracer GravelKing SS Cranberry tires, it rolls fast on hardpack while still gripping when things get loose — plus that Cranberry color adds a subtle but striking touch against the original frame. Finishing touches like the Ciclovation Grind Touch Bar Tape and Selle Italia Flight Boost improved comfort and control, making long rides smoother and more efficient.

Same bike, familiar look — but with sharper performance, better feel, and a renewed personality. A thoughtful upgrade that truly breathed new life into this Gravel Grinder.

FEATURED BIKE: PINEWOOD KATANA

Imagine a bike slicing through the wind, rolling swiftly over the terrain to get to its destination—this is the Pinewood Katana. Inspired by its name and by the famous swordsman Musashi, the design for this bike was to powdercoat it in a cool teal, giving a pop of color as it races through the gritty gravel tracks. We included Japanese sword elements like the katana sticker, Musashi kanji, and our client’s chosen Bible verse in a Japanese font, as well as carbon fiber stickers for added texture. We also installed a new carbon handlebar with leather bar tape to mimic the hilt of a sword. The bike was also overhauled and custom cut PPF was applied to extend the protection of the paint.

This bike has seen a lot (iykyk), and is now ready to inspire its rider for more gravel adventures and races to come.

FEATURED BIKE: NAKTO CARRY

After years of daily use for its rider to bring his son to and from school, this reliable Nakto Carry needed a makeover. We powder-coated the frame and some components in a vibrant apple green and candy orange combo, making it highly visible on the road. We also installed a new, lightweight yet sturdy fork, along with a new stem and handlebar for a modern look and a more comfortable ride. For enhanced stopping power and safety, we added new Tektro hydraulic brakes, and a new LCD with a multicolored display to match the bike’s bright colors.

Beyond being a dependable mode of active transport, this Nakto Carry’s new look evokes the fun rides and cherished childhood memories shared between father and son on their way to school.

FEATURED BIKE: BLOCKS LO-FI

The Blocks Lo-Fi frame is a stylish and versatile choice for those looking to blend retro aesthetics with modern functionality. Its clean, minimalist design and durable construction make it perfect for urban rides and casual cruising, while the high-quality materials ensure lasting performance.

This bike came to us for a new color, so we powder coated it in Chameleon Green, which shifts to purple when the sunlight hits it just right. For added protection, we gave it our signature rustproofing treatment, and applied a custom computer-cut PPF on the frame to make it last longer.

This Blocks Lo-Fi is ready to get back out there and boast its blend of classic charm and practical engineering.

Easily one of our most enjoyable builds yet, this custom Exion Cargo E-bike is where smart utility meets everyday style. With its frame and components powder-coated in warm latte and espresso hues, it’s a visual treat that evokes the quiet energy of a perfect morning brew. Beneath that elegance lies a serious performer: a beefy upgraded TruckRun electronic system with a 750W motor, delivering strong, reliable power that makes carrying passengers or cargo feel effortless. The bike features a freshly installed 8-speed drivetrain for versatile, responsive shifting, and Kamros hydraulic brakes with 203mm rotors to give you confident stopping power no matter the load.

Up top, you get the best of both worlds: Brooks leather saddle and grips for long-ride comfort and classic looks, paired with MKS pedals with a custom colored trim for a solid connection underfoot. The Tern Clubhouse and reupholstered Mad Pad turns the rear rack into a secure and cozy spot for its little passenger, complete with a stepping block for easier mounting and dismounting. Hand-stitched leather accents, classic side mirrors, and a sturdy Nyfti front rack round out the build with both function and style, while our signature rustproofing treatment and custom-cut PPF film keeps the finish fresh, ride after ride.

Whether it’s the school run or a weekend ride, this smooth and powerful Cargo E-Bike is a beautifully balanced companion built for everyday moments that move you.

FEATURED BIKE: MOSSO 730 GVL

The Mosso 730 GVL is a lightweight gravel frame made in Taiwan, crafted from aerospace-grade 7005 aluminum with a carbon fork. It’s a super chill ride—lightweight, sturdy, and perfect for both city spins and the occasional trail adventure. It’s got clean internal cable routing and a sleek frame that feels fast and responsive without trying too hard.

We gave this bike an overhaul and a makeover with a new powder coated frame in baby pink and blue, along with matching hubs and rims in a hot pink hue. We installed a set of Panaracer Gravelking tires and inner tubes, and a patterned bar tape to give it a pop of personality. Last but not least, we put a custom computer-cut paint protection film that is also self-healing, to keep the newly painted frame from scuffs and scratches.

Whether you're just cruising around or going for longer rides, this Mosso 730 GVL not only catches your eye but will also have your back.

FEATURED BIKE: SUPER 73 S1

The Super 73 S1 is a cool e-bike that’s sleek, stylish, and always up for a good time! With its zippy 500W motor, powerful battery, and a top speed of 32 kph, it’s perfect for urban commutes or weekend adventures without worrying about running out of juice. Beyond its performance, the Super 73 S1 stands out with its customizable design, offering endless options for personalization. The Super 73 also has a huge cult following in the US—a vibrant network of enthusiasts who gather for good vibes, epic group rides, and sharing modification tips on making your bike totally your own.

When this e-bike came in, we addressed a few things to improve its performance and customize it for our client. We switched out the knobby stock tires for CST road-friendly tires. The plastic rear mud guard was intentionally shorter than we preferred, so we installed a custom length metal rear fender for functionality and durability. Because this is a massive e-bike in weight as well as power, we matched it with a Kamros Pro brakeset as well as 203mm diameter and 2.3mm-thick rotors to make it more reliable for e-bike use. With its oversized calipers, pistons, and brake pads, the Kamros Pro brakeset is long lasting and gives a smooth but strong bite upon braking. We also detailed the bike, installed custom-cut PPF, and powdercoated the handlebar, chain guard, and part of the rear rack in a soothing Water Blue against its Sand-colored frame.

With its new look and better performance, this Super 73 S1 is a ticket to freedom, adventure, and a whole lot of good times!

The Surly Straggler is the kind of bike that refuses to be boxed into one category—it’s a do-it-all machine that thrives on both pavement and gravel. With its tough steel frame, relaxed geometry, and wide tire clearance, it’s perfect for long-haul rides, weekend touring, or just cruising to your favorite coffee shop. It’s got that classic Surly durability, meaning it can take a beating and keep rolling, no matter the terrain.

That said, this bike has certainly seen its fair share of adventures and came to us for a refreshment. We powder coated its frame in a sleek chrome black, gave it a rust proofing treatment as an additional barrier against moisture and oxygen, and treated the bike to our signature detailing to bring out the best of its stunning features.

Whether you're loaded up for an adventure or just out for a casual spin, this Surly Straggler will always be up for the ride.
