Following its screenings of “The Fellowship of the Ring” in January and “The Two Towers” last February, SM Cinema is rounding up its celebration of the 25th anniversary of “The Fellowship of the Ring,” with one final weekend of screenings. As of this writing, the extended edition of “The Return of the King” is set to hit select SM Cinema locations nationwide on March 20.

How to end a birthday month? A 3h55m journey through Middle-earth, of course. 🌿✨

There's truly nothing like the last 40 minutes or so of The Two Towers on a big screen. Helm’s Deep is still the gold standard for epic battles. From the Golden Hall of Edoras to the ancient trees of Fangorn, every frame is a masterpiece. The Extended Edition + the cinema format is absolute perfection.

Round 2!

Since the January theatrical release of the extended edition of “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” for the film’s 25th anniversary, fans have been clamoring for the re-release of “The Two Towers” and “Return of the King” as well.

Now, it looks like fans won’t have to wait anymore. The SM Cinemas website has listed the extended edition of “The Two Towers” for a February 25 release date.

There’s a reason people are still afraid of the dark after reading this one. 🧛‍♂️📖

Stephen King has this incredible way of making a small, sleepy town feel like the most dangerous place on earth. It's also amazing how SK can make a simple rocking chair or a breeze through an open window feel absolutely terrifying.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
'Salem's Lot lived up to the hype and then some. Small town secrets, ancient evil, and a slow burn that ignites into total chaos. It’s easily in my Top 5 SK novels.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
TBH, before I started reading this novel (more than a decade ago), I expected a standard vampire story, But 'Salem's Lot is so much more. It’s a dark look at how a community can fall apart from the inside out. SK's writing is so atmospheric I could almost smell the Maine autumn air and the... well, you know. Blood. Even years later, the tension in this book holds up perfectly. It’s a masterclass in how to build dread until you're almost afraid to turn the page.
