The beloved patron of the City of Passi, San Guillermo, is celebrated today, February 10, 2026.

Once a fierce soldier who walked the path of pride and sin, San Guillermo’s journey from a hardened heart to a humble hermit reminds us that no life is too broken for God’s grace to fix. In our moments of deepest sadness, when poverty feels heavy and our mistakes feel too many, San Guillermo stands as a symbol of hope. He is the miraculous figure on the hill, raising his staff to shield us from the "invaders" of despair and the trials of life. Just as he remained untouched by the flames when our church burned, he teaches us that a heart fueled by faith can survive any fire.

May the light that surrounded our Patron on the hills of Passi shine upon our families today. As we celebrate, let us cast away our old ways and embrace a life of prayer, protection, and peace.
