It’s the perfect size at 39mm and that flat white dial is gorgeous. While most Speedmaster Reduced models use a modular “piggyback” movement that’s quite pricey to service, this Speedmaster Date is powered by the bulletproof Valjoux-based Calibre 1152—a movement that’s significantly easier (and cheaper) to service and more durable than modular alternatives.
