PAASTIGAN 2014…BATTLE OF THE BANDS
M E C H A N I C S
The competition and showcase is open to any Filipino amateur band ( group with no recorded material sold in any commercial outlet or whose members are or were never part of any professional outfits.)
All band members must be Filipino citizen or should have resided in the Philippines for the past 12 months prior to the competition.
Band members can be male or female, 18 years old and above.
To join, get entry forms at CLA Town Center Mall Information Desk or Admin office and simply fill up the form with the following information: Band name, name of members and designated contact address and contact number.
All applicants must submit the following requirements along with the application form:
• Typed lyrics of the band’s two (2) entry songs.
• Entry songs should be RNB, hip-hop, pop, new wave, alternative or any music genre.
• Enclose the fill-out application form and above-stated requirements in an envelope with the official receipt of purchase of GLOBE prepaid simcards. Each band is required to a Registration Fee of P500 and a purchase of three(3) Globe prepaid simcards. Seal and indicate at the back of the envelope the name of the band and contact address.
• Drop entries at PAASTIGAN drop boxes at CLA Town Center Mall. Bands may also mail their entries via LBC to CLA Town Center Mall located at Brgy. Binan, Pagsanjan, Laguna.
Deadline for submission of entries will be on October 15, 2014.
Hurry!!! drop your entries now to qualify for the elimination rounds.
Qualifying bands will be contacted through landline or cellphone. Radio announcement of qualifiers will be on October 16, 2014.
Qualifying bands will compete in the elimination rounds on October 18. Top winners from the elimination rounds will move on to compete at the PAASTIGAN Grand Finals on October 26, 2014. Grand Finalists will be required to compose and perform a GLOBE Jingle and using a set of lyrics provided them by organizers.
Taking Care of Events Entertainment (TCE2 ) Production reserves the right to disqualify any band with just cost.
Employees of Taking Care of Events Entertainment (TCE2 ) Production, CLA Town Center Mall, GLOBE , its agencies and promo suppliers and relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the competition.

The competition and showcase is open to any Filipino fans of Elvis Presley (with no recorded material sold in any commercial outlet and never part of any professional outfits.)
All contestants must be Filipino citizen or should have resided in Laguna for the past 6 months prior to the competition.

Contestants can be male or female, 16 to 60 years of age.

To join, get entry forms at the CLA TOWN CENTER MALL Administration Office ( 2nd Floor) and simply fill up the form with the following information: name, designated contact address and contact number.

All applicants must submit the following requirements along with the application form:

• Typed lyrics of the contestant’s entry song.
• Entry songs should be only Elvis Presley’s music.
• Enclose the fill-out application form and above-stated requirements in an envelope. Seal and indicate at the back of the envelope the name of the contestant and contact address.
• Drop entries at CLA TOWN CENTER MALL drop boxes or submit your entries at the Mall Administration Office located at the second floor.
