Some moments remind us why we do what we do.

Our bar takeover at Creed Coffee wasn’t just about serving cups. It was about sharing conversations, exchanging ideas, and meeting people who are just as passionate about coffee as we are.

Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to present our interpretation of clarity, showing how thoughtful sourcing, intentional roasting, and careful brewing can bring out a coffee’s truest character. Every cup became an invitation to experience coffee through our perspective.

To everyone who dropped by, shared stories, asked questions, and spent time with us, thank you. Your curiosity and support made the experience genuinely memorable.

To the wonderful team at Creed Coffee, thank you for opening your space and trusting us to be part of your community. We left inspired, grateful, and looking forward to the next time our paths cross.

Clarity isn’t something we stumble upon. It’s something we intentionally brew for.

At Catalyst Coffee Curators, every variable has a purpose. Grind size, contact time, agitation, water temperature, and water composition all work together to shape how a coffee expresses itself. Change one, and the cup changes with it.

This is why we often lean towards clarity-driven brews. We want sweetness to be defined, acidity to be articulate, and every origin to tell its own story.

Not because it’s the only way to brew coffee.
Simply because it’s the experience we enjoy most.

There is no perfect brew - only intentional ones.

What an incredible weekend at the Brew Bar during MAFBEX 2026.

We had so much fun sharing our coffees, meeting new friends, reconnecting with familiar faces, and having meaningful conversations over countless cups. Moments like these remind us that coffee is truly about bringing people together.

A huge thank you to Conlins Coffee World Conlinscoffee World Inc and Hario Philippines HARIO Asia for having Catalyst Coffee Curators as part of this year’s Brew Bar experience. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share what we love with such a passionate community.

A special thank you as well to Jason Guevara Basilan of 528 Ilawod Cafe for joining us as our guest brewer. It was a pleasure brewing alongside you and sharing wonderful coffees with everyone who visited the bar.

Most especially, thank you to Mamita Vìàn Càcèrès for making this possible. Your support, trust, and generosity mean so much to us, and we’re deeply grateful for everything you do behind the scenes to help create opportunities like this.

New Coffee Launch!

This lot from Thageini Factory in Nyeri, Kenya, is the result of hundreds of smallholder farmers working collectively through the Aguthi Farmers Cooperative Society.

More than a coffee producer, Thageini is a community built around shared knowledge, continuous farmer education, and a commitment to improving both coffee quality and livelihoods. Through ongoing agronomy support and quality-focused training, farmers are empowered to produce coffees that create greater value for their families and future generations.

In the cup:

Rich, jammy mouthfeel

Every harvest reflects the collective effort of the farming community, where careful stewardship of the land and dedication to quality are passed from one generation to the next.

What an incredible weekend for Philippine coffee.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the organizers of the Philippine National Coffee Competitions for allowing Catalyst Coffee Curators to be part of this year’s Brew Bar experience.

More than the coffees we brewed, what truly made this event special were the people behind every conversation, every smile, every shared cup, and every story exchanged across the bar. Seeing the vibrant energy, genuine curiosity, and overwhelming support from everyone who stopped by reminded us why we do what we do.

To every competitor, volunteer, organizer, coffee professional, enthusiast, and friend who took the time to visit our Brew Bar, thank you. Your presence turned simple brews into meaningful connections and transformed the space into a celebration of the growing Philippine coffee community.

A very special thank you to Vanessa Caceres, lovingly known by many as Mamita, for her unwavering support, guidance, and assistance throughout this year’s Brew Bar takeover. Behind every successful event are people who quietly make things happen, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and heart she shared with us. Your kindness and generosity did not go unnoticed, and Catalyst Coffee Curators is deeply thankful for your support.

We are also grateful to everyone who shared a cup with us, asked questions, exchanged ideas, and showed love for the coffees and producers we proudly represent. These moments continue to inspire us to push forward in our mission of connecting people through coffee.
