A heel, a loafer, a mule, and a sandal — a perfect start and preview for the year. Some snippets from our January workshops so far 🤩

This year began a little more gently than the last, and we’re pretty happy about that. The focus has been on letting participants learn and experience as much of the shoemaking process as possible, with minimal assistance — something that becomes harder to do in bigger classes.

Smaller groups allow for deeper focus, more hands-on learning, and space for each participant to really find their rhythm in the craft.We’re considering keeping our workshops small — max 5 participants per class.

Messy no more! 😍 Or at least not too much 🤣 I know our past students sometimes struggled with their tools and materials getting misplaced during the workshops — so we got a new setup with a tool caddy and more tools.

Tested during yesterday’s workshop and it I think it worked hehe we were much neater 🥰
