I also put a couple raised beds at our backyard as a Mother’s Day Gift for my mom. We had always had our differences when it comes to plants in our garden. I always reject the trees she plants. But she wants to have her own vegetable garden. So here is what i could offer. There’s a 3rd raised bed, but I ran out of soil. I’ll install that when I have more soil. Hehe.

I planted this Plumeria from seed around 3 years ago. Now, it’s almost 7 feet tall and flowering for the second time. The edges of the leaves have a curl to them so it has more visual interest even without flowers.

Bismarckia nobilis from a friend. Funny story actually, he gave me a pot with 2 specimen growing in it. When I decided to repot it so it can grow in a bigger pot, there were 4 more growing underneath the soil. So there’s a total of 6 specimen in the pot. Too bad 2 died. The last remaining 4 are growing wonderfully though. I’m sure I’ll need like a super jumbo pot for them when they start growing-growing into their tree forms.

All this time, I thought this was Z. vazquezii. When I read more about it, I found out that it’s the rarer Z. fischeri because it has no prickles on its petiole. 😁

The Pachypodiums are shedding their leaves and revealing their caudices. This one has gotten huge since I got it from Plant Depot PH several years ago. I remember when it only had one meristem and looked like a singular blob.
