✨In this beautiful photo, Pierre Besnault, 95 years old is seen candidly looking out of his small bookstore in Paris.

This bookstore, “La fontaine Charlemagne,” was located at 5 rue Charlemagne, Paris.

It closed in 2018 following the retirement of his retirement.

Pierre sadly passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 99. He died happily having served most of his life as a protector of the written word.
