Celebrated yesterday so my Mother’s Day could look like this 🤍

I told the hubba I didn’t feel like doing much today — just spending the day doing the little things I’ve been putting off for a while. No mama duties, just a day for me.

came here for the bánh xèo nhân nấm bò—vietnamese beef & mushroom crispy pancake, best enjoyed wrapped in greens and dipped in a rich, tangy sauce 🤍

one serving is good for 2! 👌
as our first proper meal in vietnam, this already set our expectations high

mura, masarap, and the thoughtful service—tinuruan pa kami how to prepare and eat it for the full experience 😅

Day 1 of 16 in Vietnam 🇻🇳: 24hrs in Ho Chi Minh City

one full day to explore the vibrant, chaotic, and surprisingly charming HCMC

honestly, just enough time to take in the energy, the streets, and the food—but another day or two would’ve been nice for slower exploring (and shopping 👀)

we stopped by:

📍 Saigon Central Post Office
📍 Nguyen Van Binh Book Street
📍 Cafe Apartments
📍 a few cafes and random shops along the way

feb weather was hot and humid, but still walkable. overall, bitin—but a good first taste!
