Wild Cup Civet Coffee comes from wild civet cats roaming freely at Mt. Apo, the highest peak in the Philippines. Wild Cup is naturally blended coffee, collected and processed by local farmers.
Kape melo or kape musang in Mindanao had been called one of the most expensive coffees in the world, with retail prices reaching 550 Euros or 700 US Dollars per kilogram due to its unusual bean selection process.
Asian palm civet or wild cat eats only the ripest and the best coffee beans in the wild or coffee farms. The partially digested and defecated coffee cherries are the collected, washed and go through other processes before heated or roasted.
Every good cup of civet coffee that we drink, we not only get to enjoy the best coffee in the world, we also help the local farmers in Mindanao sustain their livelihood.
