We live in a world that wounds, where betrayal, injustice, and cruelty often seem to go unchecked. It’s natural to want to shut down, protect ourselves, or respond in kind. But Jesus calls us to a higher love—a love that doesn’t make sense to the world.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” — John 13:34 (ESV)

He loved those who denied Him, betrayed Him, and nailed Him to a cross. He didn’t just tell us to love. He showed us what that love looks like: patient, forgiving, relentless, and sacrificial.

To love like Jesus is not to ignore the pain others cause, but it’s choosing not to let it define our response. It’s showing mercy when it’s undeserved. It’s speaking truth with grace. It’s keeping our hearts open even when the world tells us to shut them tight.

In a world full of hurt, love becomes our rebellion.

Who is God calling you to love today—even if it’s hard, even if it feels unfair? Ask Him for the strength to love with His love, not your own. ❤️🙏
