Shrinkflation is part of market mix strategy on product and pricing , I guess not to deceive the consumers but offer them affordable product due to the effect of increase prices of raw materials . Snickers bars were cut down by 17%, from 58g to 48g but same old price. Cadbury restyled it and reduced the weight of each bar from 49g to 45g. Toblerone has increased the gap between the peaks to reduce the weight of its bars. Even the Turon in Savemore , the fishball , kwek kwek and the famous pandesal geared to shrinkflation . But not your heart ❤️️, all us would always be in search of a bigger heart ...
