Street Photography Workshop Beyond Basic

Full-Day Street Photography Workshop
A hands-on, fun day to learn street photography from a guided walk to a practical workshop. We'll focus on observation, composition, timing and a little post-processing - without the tech overwhelm and then printing.

6:45- 7:00 I Quick Intro
- What street photography is all about
- A few basics on being respectful and getting around.
7:00 -9:30 Guided Photowalk: On the Street
- Easy route with interesting stops
- Friendly prompt to spark great shots
- Tips you can use on the fly: settings, focusing and keep moving
- Simple settings that work in the moment ( Auto vs Shutter Priority vs Manual, IS0 and Exposure Triangle.
10:30-11:30 I Workshop Time: Telling a Tiny Story
- Composition drills: framing, balance, tension.
- Analyzing images for storytelling: narrative arc, context and emotion.
- Ethical storytelling: respecting subjects and public space.
11:30 -12:30 Lunch Break / working lunch
12:45-3:45 Workshop Proper and Coffee break in-between
4:00-5:00 Edit/Print and Share Session
- Pick 3-5 pics to talk about as a group and get feedback.
What to bring:
- Fully charged camera (plus spare battery and memory card)
- A couple of lenses you like for street(e.g., 35mm, 50mm or wider lens)
- Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate layers.
- Note pad or phone for quick notes.
- Includes day materials. on-site guidance, and post-workshop resources.
