On behalf of our co-ND student, Joan Rocel Buenaventura of BSND 3-1D, we are humbly knocking on your kind hearts to seek help and support financially and in prayer. Joan is currently facing a critical medical condition that requires immediate treatment and expensive medical procedures.
Joan is suffering from a viral infection that causes a rare syndrome known as Guillain-Barré syndrome. It is a viral infection that targets the nerves in the body, causing her difficulties in breathing and any movements like walking and eating.
She is currently confined in the ICU and intubated to monitor her oxygen. Nakafeeding tube na rin po siya dahil po hindi siya kumakain.
Her doctor requires 5 vials per day for 5 days. Almost nasa one million po, gamot pa lang po. On top of that, yung procedure sa OR po na spinal tap, and yung ICU po na 50,000 po per day, siya. Plus, iba pa pong mga medicine and professional fees po ng 3 doctors po niya.
