We are holding a sale on our perfumes to help, in what little way we can, the families displaced by the eruption of Taal volcano. Profits will be used to donate canned items, clean water, animal food, and clothing.

Tom Ford London eau de Parfum

This little known fragrance from the house of Tom Ford Prive is one that caught my nose during my last travel overseas. While many have shunned this for being "nothing like what London actually smells like", it offers quite an experience that is not to be shrugged at.

The opening is a symphony of warm spices and aromatic nuances. The cardamom sits daintily in the background while the saffron presents itself well and is rather pronounced right from the first sniff.

The coffee does not sting or too dark, but it provides depth and structure that does not go away after a few minutes, unlike most top notes.

The dry-down, however, for me is the showstopper. It is enough to convince me to take a chance a purchase a bottle. The agar wood (oud) is ever-present without being overpowering and the combination of birch and amyris makes this perfume rather earthy and vibrant.

A unique and blindbuy worthy offering from Tom Ford Prive, but only for those who can appreciate fragrances that steps out of the ordinary and expected.

V&R Dancing Roses

I have never been a huge fan of Rose perfumes until I smelled this beauty from V&R several months back. Dancing Roses takes you on a sweet, sultry journey sans the sugary/patchouli-heavy scent that V&R is known for (i.e. Flowerbomb).

The touch of velvety rose dipped in fresh elements, along with a hint of booze and a dash of oriental undertones make this a great masterpiece. A definite must for ladies who like to exude power without stripping themselves of their feminine persona.

Work friendly and can be used during the day 🙂
