Look what KTM revealed on EICMA 2023 ‼️‼️
Forget about the gentle touring bikes; KTM doesn't care. KTM exists in its own unique world with the 2024 KTM 990 Duke, which is nothing like the 990 Super Duke from the early 2000s. This new addition is the formidable big brother of the 790 and 890 Duke models. The 790 is the original middleweight, the 890 is even more powerful, and the 990 is the compact yet incredibly fierce one. Its appearance exudes aggression, almost closer to the 1290 Superduke. KTM dubs this beast "990 Duke - The Sniper."
KTM proudly introduces this lightweight, precise, and high-performance motorcycle, designed for the mid-class naked bike segment.
Here are some of its key features:
- A brand-new 947cc LC8 parallel twin engine (distinct from the 990 Superduke's 999cc V-twin)
- A power output of 123 HP
- Equipped with TC, Launch Control, and Cornering ABS
- Features Twin J.Juan radial brakes
- Boasts LED headlights, a 5” TFT Display, and a USB-C charging port
- Utilizes a cable-operated power assist slipper clutch
- Built on a new flexible tubular steel chassis
- Includes a die-cast aluminum subframe
- Suspended by WP APEX fully adjustable forks with 5-click adjustment
- Offers 5 riding modes
- Holds 14 liters of fuel in its tank
- Impressively lightweight at only 190 kg when wet
While its unconventional alien-like appearance may not win any beauty contests, it undeniably possesses an undeniably badass character. 🥵
