Test Your Irons Lie Angle with This Simple Hack! ⛳️ Read More…
Having the incorrect lie angle on your irons can have a massive impact on where the golf ball goes.
1. If your irons are too flat at impact, meaning the toe is below the heel at impact, the loft will point itself to the right which isn’t what we want, this makes it hard to start the ball where we want
2. If your iron lie angle is too upright, meaning at impact the toe is above the heel, the loft will point to the left, even if the club face leading edge is square.
3. If your iron lie angle perfect, meaning at impact the sole of the club has returned flush to the ground, the loft will point straight. And the line will be perfectly vertical 👌
HERES HOW TO TEST IT - Simply draw a line down your golf ball, set it on the ground so that it is perfectly vertical, impact the golf ball so it leaves an imprint on your club face. We're ultimately looking for the line to be vertical, straight up and down.
If you see it looking the other photos above, there's a good chance the lie angle on your irons is incorrect and it's something you should get checked out, either with a club fitter or it maybe be because of a swing issue 👌 need any help just reach out
