🌼Syngonium podophyllum 'Cream Allusion'

Description
It has medium-sized leaves that are creamy-green in color and infused with pink.

What makes it special:
NASA recommended air purifier plant.
Best for AC rooms, office desk.
Best indoor plant for low light condition.
Low maintenance plant.
Attractive foliage plant.

LIGHT REQUIREMENT
Bright light, but no direct sun. The cream allusion plant is a great container plant for shady balcony gardens that don't get much direct sunlight.

WATERING
Keep the potting mix moisture allowing the surface to dry out before watering again.

PRUNING
If you want to keep your plant compact and bushy, pinch of new growth on a regular basis. Wear gloves when pinching as the plants’ sap can cause skin irritation.

PROPAGATION
It is easy to root Syngonium from a cutting during the growing season. Cut sections of stem containing root nodes and place them in clean water to grow roots. If you see that your plant has developed aerial roots on the stem, you can be certain that stem section will root easily.

RE-POTTING
Repot every other year. However, because these plants are fast-growers you may need to repot annually.

LIGHT REQUIREMENT
Bright, indirect light. Avoid excessive direct sunlight.

WATERING
Maintain moist soil, but avoid waterlogged conditions. Water once the top of the soil feels dry.

TEMPERATURE
55-85°F (13-29°C). Can be an indoor or outdoor plant.

HUMIDITY
Medium to high humidity. Leaf curling and brown tips will develop in low humidity.

PRUNING
Only needed to control size and remove dead foliage. Plant will spread out if allowed to.

PROPAGATION
By division or seed.

RE-POTTING
Every 1-2 years

TOXICITY
Generally safe for children and pets.

LIGHT REQUIREMENT
Indirect sunlight. Direct sun will damage the leaves and low light will slow growth, so a bit of balance is required.

WATERING
Water thoroughly during the growing season then naturally reduce during winter. Good drainage is important.

TEMPERATURE
Ideal temperatures required should be between 60ºF – 75ºF (15.5-24ºC).

HUMIDITY
Calatheas enjoy humidity in their natural climate. If you can try and raise the levels even if you just mist the plant or seat the pot on a tray of pebbles with water inside. When the humidity is low from dry air you may notice leaf tips browning.

2ft tall

RE-POTTING
Repot once every 2 years.

PROPAGATION
Division. Try to propagate when it's time for repotting

TOXICITY
Non-toxic to cats and dogs.
