Look at these glasses of coffee. The first cup was fresh brewed and is the darkest , the most pure. The second I brewed using the same grounds and so on. You could say that all of these cups hold 100% coffee and you’d be right, but if you’re a coffee drinker, which coffee would you want to drink?⁣

It’s the same with oils. Young Living only does ONE distillation process (one brew). Other companies do 3 or more distillations or even add synthetic fillers to make their product stretch farther.⁣

What Does Seed To Seal Actually Mean?

At Young Living, we do not strip constituents to make our oils smell better (but work less). We do not mix species of oils. We do not spray, we do not use w**d killers or pesticides or herbicides or GMO seeds. Our soil is not tainted with mercury or arsenic or glyphosate or any poison because our fields are untouched by toxic chemicals. We harvest at the peak of the plant- and we know when that peak is because of our extensive library on oils- the oldest and largest globally of a collection that size, compiled from nearly 30 years of research at farms on multiple continents. Gary grew Helichrysum at St Marie's, then Mona, then Croatia to watch its strength. We don't grow it where it grows natively. We grow it where it grows best and does the most work for the body. We know how to grow it because our farms are on nearly every continent. (And you can go visit them yourself, ANY of our farms, if you like- because we are transparent.) We test 8 times at the farm, then again in Spanish Fork, Utah, then again after bottling. We do 24 tests per batch to make sure the oils meet our standards. Many of the machines we use to check for contaminants aren't even developed yet at other companies.

We spend $12,000 per acre to hand-w**d Lavender, instead of the industry standard of $60 an acre for the same plant. We do not distill with solvents like hexane. To say we are the same as a generic Amazon off brand or a brand at the grocery store is an insult to proper distillation and therapeutic aromatherapy. Why use an oil to get away from chemicals, then use an oil laden with chemicals?? That makes no sense.

You can not have quality without cost. The two go hand in hand. Irradiated 80/20 rib meat is not the same as pastured grass fed organic beef. You will get what you pay for! We understand that in every other industry-- except aromatherapy.

A 3rd party lab test doesn't make an oil pure. Saying your oils are better does not make them pure. Integrity and hard work and high standards do. THAT is Seed to Seal. And that is why Young Living is different.
