“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
2 Corinthians 10:5
The battlefield is the mind. Sadly, this is the area many believers neglect the most. We often remain focused on the sense realm, yet the sense realm is where the enemy attempts to dominate our thinking. Thoughts are challenged through what we feel, what we see, and what reports tell us.
The chastisement of our peace was upon Christ. This means the punishment required for our peace was fully paid by Jesus. Anxiety, turmoil, inner pressure, and mental unrest were not overlooked. They were addressed at the cross. And by His stripes, we are healed.
For the body to prosper, the mind must prosper. And the mind prospers only when it is anchored in God’s Word, not in fluctuating facts or sensory impressions.
In a world full of noise, opinions, and changing conclusions, healing for the mind comes from settling in God’s constant, unchanging Word. #112
