𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗠𝗣 – 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱
DISADECO successfully conducted a 3-day Meat Processing Training with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Batch 2, participated in by 33 members. The training was held on March 25–27, 2026 at DISADECO Angadanan, C2, Angadanan, Isabela.
The activity aimed to enhance members’ skills and technical knowledge in safe, hygienic, and quality meat processing, in line with GMP standards-supporting livelihood development and ensuring consumer safety.
The training was made possible through the invaluable assistance of the Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute, Regional Training Center II (DA-ATI RTC II), headed by Center Director Ma’am Claris M. Alaska.
On the third day, participants also took part in a comprehensive discussion on Mandatory Packaging and Labeling Requirements, conducted in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)- Quirino. This session equipped members with essential knowledge on proper labeling requirements, packaging standards, and market readiness of meat products.
