How to make 1 Liter of Sikwati(Native Chocolate) for a Group using this product?
1. Fill a 2 liter saucepan with a liter of water, plop in 3 blocks

2. No need for batirol, stir the mixture once it starts to boil, CAUTION: turn the heat to low once bubbles appear, the mixture tends to overflow(sayang ang sikwati)

3. Let simmer for 3-5mins.

4. Serve hot in a mug, add sugar and milk to taste

Note: A Block could be used to make a Mug(330ml) of Sikwati for a Solo Serving

Formulating a recipe for Diabetic and Keto Diet Friendly Non-Sugar Sweetened Dark Chocolate Candy is a big challlenge.

I am deeply challenged and inspired by my 88-year old Mother who has been diagnosed for Diabetes Type-II more than 45 years ago. Having the familial tendency to get the same condition is quite high in my case since this condition is present in both of my parents’ families.

I can also attest that going on a low-sugar, low-carbohydrate diet, such as the Keto Diet has its benefits. I lost a significant amount of weight since I have made my choice few years back(though falling off the horse’s saddle is also true) I was able to keep my Fasting Blood Sugar at a normal level in a consistent manner.

Hopefully, I will be able to mix the right proportions of chocolate liqour, cocoa butter and sweetener to mimic that right Chocolate sweetness so as to take off that guilt-feeling of having a Melt-In-The-Mouth Dark Chocolate Candy “sin” that we always want to enjoy and relish.
