The completely free online declaration should be submitted on the official Vietnam Immigration Department Portal within 72 hours of your flight.

Key Requirements:
Where it applies: Currently mandatory only for arrivals at Ho Chi Minh City (SGN). It is not yet required for Hanoi or Da Nang.Who is affected: All foreign passport holders, regardless of visa requirements (e-Visa, Visa on Arrival, or visa-exempt travelers). Vietnamese citizens and airside transit passengers are exempt.Validity: You must complete this as a separate step; it does not replace your visa.
