House Bill 9147 or the Single Use Plastic Products Regulation Act passed the third and final reading in the House of Representatives. This includes a provision for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), a waste management scheme that holds producers accountable for the plastic packaging they put into the market.

This brings us a step closer to having by 2030!
