Del Pilar Street and Samson Road, the
DSGN design for SM Center Sangandaan creates a memorable identity along both of its main street frontages. A vivid wall pattern establishes the center as a bold presence on the urban streetscape, and the primary mall entrance is elevated slightly from the sidewalk, covered along the street by elegant canopies. Shoppers arriving in private cars are quickly guid
ed from the main frontage road to a multi-level carpark that connects to each level of the center for optimal shopping convenience. The interior of SM Center Sangardaan is organized around a simply planned atrium that allows clear line-of-sight to all shops on all levels at all times. A strategically placed bridge provide
convenient access to all areas of the mall, and a soaring glass elevator, stairs and escalators
allow easy access to all levels. The interior design is simple and bold with strong bursts of bright color, daylit from above with an ample skylight and continuous clerestories. The SM Cinema and Cyberzone both feature their own designs, establishing unique identities for each of these entertainment and retail offerings.
