Five of the most memorable years of my career were spent at Lufthansa Technik Philippines, where I truly learned my craft. The closure of line maintenance came as a shock – not only to me, but equally to everyone who worked there.

I was part of Base Maintenance (AO5 back then), but through support work, I built many friendships with the Line Maintenance team. Some of my best memories were the long AOG shifts and...the beers we shared in Brgy. Villamor 😅

I know these are challenging times. I felt the same when I left LTP nearly 10 years ago with no immediate job waiting for me. Looking back, that uncertainty became one of the best turning points of my life.

To my fellow mechanics and friends in Line Maintenance, stay positive. It may not be clear now, but you will figure it out. This may be the start of a new and better chapter.
