To guide our competitors on what we are looking for, for each category we have compiled concepts and aesthetics of what we are looking for per category please see the album below and use it as part of your reference material.

• Rules Clarification:

- The 2 Categories will have a different prize pool
Cyberpunk Category already has the prizes listed on our previous post, desert category will have prize pool posted soon

- Registration Cyberpunk Category will be 1500 pesos minimum store purchase and Desert category will have 300 pesos minimum store purchase

- You can Purchase via instore or thru facebook and be booked via courier of your choice

- You don't need to use your store purchase especially of kits as your actual entry

- if for any reason you cannot represent yourself on D-day you may bring a representative

ADVANCED LEVEL Theme: CYBERPUNK
ENTRY LEVEL Theme:DESERT

● CYBERPUNK [ADVANCED level] THEME RULES:

🏆 GRAND PRIZE WILL BE HOBBYHOUSE' WATERFALL SPRAYBOOTH worth P 10,000 (EXCLUSIVELY WITHIN THE CYBERPUNK CATEGORY PRIZEPOOL)

• MINIMUM PURCHASE OF 1500 KITS OR TOOLS AT HOBBYHOUSE PH MONUMENTO from AUGUST 14 - NOVEMBER 16
• Registration will be open from AUGUST 14 till November 16
• Any Mecha Model kit from any line in any scale, 3RD PARTY KITS are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for this category.
• Must follow the CYBERPUNK theme
• Entries must be painted at minimum
• Any Modification techniques are allowed
• 3D printing is allowed
• Submitted output will be the final basis for judging
• participant must enter 1 kit
• Can be displayed with a small base:
- base or Diorama size will not exceed 12x12x24 (LxWxH in inches)
- please keep it small to accommodate other participants!

● DESERT [ENTRY level] THEME RULES:

• Grand Prize for this catergory will be announced on a later date
• Registration will be open from AUGUST 13 till September 6
• minimum store purchase of 300 pesos will be required to join
• Any Mecha Model kit from any line in any scale
• Must follow the desert/sand warfare theme
• Can use any mecha
• Entries must be painted
• Any Modification techniques are allowed
• 3D printing is allowed
• Submitted output will be the final basis for judging
• participant must enter 1 kit
• Can be displayed with a small base:
- size must not exceed 3 inches from the feet
- keep it small to accommodate other participants

FOR FINAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Registration Forms are available to Hobbyhouse PH Physical store or we can list your name
• Have your Receipt Ready with you!
• Online Purchase via FB Direct orders is allowed, order thru shopee or other third party apps and pre orders will not be considered
• PRE-ORDER Items are not qualified to join and compete

ANNOUNCEMENT l We will be changing our Annual Contest from Photo Mecha to our new Hobbybouse PH Plaslapagan 2026 Annual Plastic Kit Build-Off.

Mechanics are almost the same from the previous one (Photo Mecha) but there will be some twists here and there! Stay Tune for numerous PRIZES (*cough, water curtain spray booth *cough) and the MECHANICS!
