CDO Online Teaching Hub
Eligibility
• Open to all candidates who are at least 21 years old and a graduate of any 4 year course
• No fee or item in any kind will be collected to become one of our online Teachers
Validity
• Potential Online Teachers should send resume to Talent Scout ([email protected]) to join the program
• Talent Scout will pre-interview and screen all applicants prior the final interview of online teachers
• Email confirmation will be sent to proceed to the next step of the process to qualified applicants
Criteria
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A four-year Bachelor’s degree graduate
• Proficiency in speaking the English language with neutral accent
• Availability to teach whenever you’re available during peak times (each lesson lasts 25 minutes):
• 7:00pm – 9:30pm Beijing Time (Weekdays: Monday to Friday)
• 9:00am – 9:30pm Beijing Time (Weekends: Saturday to Sunday)
• Valid diploma, credentials, NBI Clearance and government-issued ID are required
• Experience in teaching English to young learners or foreigners (ESL/EFL) is an advantage
• A teaching certificate, including teaching licenses, TESOL, TEFL, etc. is preferred
• Referral must have the recommended home-office requirements and should meet the minimum company requirements:
• Device Requirements
• Desktop or laptop
• Operating System: Windows 7 or above or Mac
• CPU: Intel Core i3 5th gen / i5 / i7 or AMD equivalent
• Memory: At least 4GB of RAM with minimum 100GB free hard disk space available
• Headset with extended microphone and noise-cancelling features
• High-definition (HD) external or integrated we**am (with at least 720p resolution)
• Network Connection
• Wired DSL Internet connection of at least 3 Mbps (LTE, USB sticks & wireless connections are not allowed)
• Download speed of at least 1Mbps or higher | Upload speed of at least 0.50Mbps or higher
Teaching Environment
• A quiet, clutter-free, and well-lit space in your home with plain white background
• Teacher must not be working for another online English school
• Teacher must not have been processed by 51Talk's Talent Acquisition team within the past 3 months
• Teacher must be launched as a Full-Time Home-Based Online English Teacher
Endorsement Process
• Teacher details must be sent via the Talent Scout Landing Page ([email protected])
• The teacher will follow the standard recruitment process that each applicant undergoes
