After the hardest season of her life, Aria wished healing worked like a switch—off one day, on the next. But it didn’t. Some days she felt lighter, other days the weight returned as if it had never left.
One morning, while walking outside, she noticed a crack in the pavement where a tiny flower had begun to grow. It wasn’t there the week before. It hadn’t appeared suddenly.
It had pushed through slowly—quietly—bit by bit.
Aria smiled, realizing her healing was happening the same way.
Not in grand moments.
Not all at once.
But in small shifts—
a deeper breath,
a softer thought,
a moment of calm that hadn’t been there yesterday.
She no longer demanded herself to be “okay.”
Instead, she let each day be what it needed to be.
And as the weeks passed, she found that pain softened, hope returned, and peace began to settle in places that once only hurt.
Little by little, day by day, healing found its way back to her.
