2020 was a rollercoaster.

It's been a crazy ride from January to December. We felt the drop in potential customers right at the beginning - what with the Taal incident and natural calamities happening. But remember, negativity isn't gonna help and we've always gotta try to open our doors to opportunities. Flower Box by RL being a seasonal online shop only thrives on Valentine's so if we missed this, that's it for the year. We thought about it long and hard, and decided to push forward despite the low feasibility of the market to serve our dear customers.

Hindi mo malalaman hanggang hindi mo susubukan, wala naman din kaming masamang ginagawa at malinis naman kami magtrabaho. It was just a gamble with how much we could earn. It wasn’t much but we are grateful. So here’s a big thank you to our customers for the love and support when we did open. It was truly an overwhelming experience to have returning customers and even new customers who trust our quality and service. TYL, it was another successful year!

Until... covid happened, the lockdown, the restrictions and limited resources. Life got busy after that...actually, busier! You really had to count your blessings and learn to appreciate what you have. Work harder to earn and not to take anything for granted. Grab opportunities, and grab we did.

What started as a vision turned into reality. Market Box by RL was born!

A holiday gift that caters to the Yuletide tradition of giving groceries. It was no easy task of course, as this was new to us. It was tedious work but with the help of family, we managed to put everything together.

After weeks exhausted and coffees consumed, we pulled through. We always commit to our quality. We always aim for satisfaction. We give our best in what we do or we do it again from scratch.

Market Box by RL was a hit!

What else can we say but thank you to everyone who supported us. Shut out the hate people tell you and filter those who drag you down. This year was a lesson to all of us.

So let's all let go of 2020's misgivings and welcome 2021 together.
