We have received a report that an alleged post from a certain person is claiming that the dishwashing liquid they bought from our reseller has “worms” inside. The post did not mention our brand but tagged our reseller. This post has gathered attention online especially around our area here in Antipolo and asking what brand they bought, in which she replied to most comments that she will send it via a private message. They claimed that the “worms are still alive” and they did not see it until they already used half of the dishwashing liquid. In addition, they used a strainer to get it out from the container. However, this claim is very questionable, misleading and exaggerated, because there’s a process to make a dishwashing liquid and it’s not just a one stop mix and match of chemicals that is prone to contamination.
• There is curing period or you have to wait for the dishwashing liquid to settle for at least 1-2 days before you transfer it to a container.
• Then the products would be transferred to a new and clean container. We do 3 quality checks for each bottle before we finally seal the bottles, wash, wipe the bottles and place it in our storage rack.
• MOST IMPORTANTLY - The process that we do and the “chemical contents” of a dishwashing liquid (which we use as a cleaning agent), cannot have a live worm or even a dead worm inside. (it’s just so impossible)
We sold more than a thousand bottles and this is the only claim to have living worms inside.
Our reseller got the products from us August 1 (we have a proof of our conversation), and gave it to her customer the next day August 2. The date of the post was yesterday, August 9. Our reseller also gave us a confirmation the products were in good condition upon she received it from us and when she gave it to her client. We have already filed a blotter in our barangay for the persons involved due to MECQ there is no date yet from the “Lupon” for us to meet them personally.
We would like to emphasize that we would not tolerate any malicious claims on our brand. Yes, we are just a small business, a start-up business, but we make sure we will not do anything that will tarnish our brand.
We have all the screenshots from the alleged post. We hope to settle this once and for all in the barangay, but in any case we are willing to have it in court if necessary.
Most importantly, we assure our resellers and customers that our products are clean and safe as we also use it at home. We use protective equipment such as gloves, aprons, hairnets etc., our work area is always clean and we have permits as well to prove it. Let us all be vigilant and not be one sided on this story. Note: When products are already opened, make sure to store it properly and put the cap tightly so it will not be contaminated.
