After her reading, Diane shares sentiments that resonate her personal life experiences.

The reading was beautiful. I loved how each chapter & testimony had its own unique and timely encouragement and message, and how, at the end of each experience, there was a sense of reflection and appreciation to the fact that God is ever present and faithful to us.
I truly resonated with _Chapter 2: A Night on an Island_ in my own circumstances, and in my head, I kept reciting my all-time favorite Bible text reading that chapter and towards the end I saw it was quoted in there also (John 14:27) and it just made the rest of the reading experience more beautiful. 😇

Often it is not until you put your story down on paper and contemplate on the highs and lows, the struggles and disappointments that enabled you to acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses, lessons you've learnt and how you've overcome adversity. You'll see how everything that had happened in your life, both good and bad, has led you to where you are today.

We met at Santos Haus, downtown, and at our first conversation, I seem to have known him - He might be a great reader and surely he was !. His words were fitting to the ear of a young author like me, radiating positivity, enthusiasm and discipline.

He later ends off " Your story is as powerful as a two-edged sword. It can slice and put pieces back in order for those who are struggling in life".

Through reading one's story, you find parts of yourself that are mirrored in their writings.

As Michelle Obama said, "When we share our stories, we are reminded of the humanity in each other."

And when we take the time to understand each other's stories, we become more forgiving, more empathetic and more inclusive.

When others read your life story and make comments such as, "I can relate to that" or " That's exactly how I felt when that happened to me", it gives you a felling of connection and so you know there's someone facing the same challenges out there and has made his or her way through to the other side, so you can emulate their footsteps and become a better version of yourself.
