It was great to have students from Central Southland College in store this week learning about chainsaw safety as part of Chainsaw Safety Week.

This year’s message “Prep beats ‘she’ll be right!’ Every time” is such an important reminder that taking the time to prepare properly, wear the right gear, and use safe techniques can make all the difference.

It’s great to have the next generation getting hands-on knowledge, learning about chainsaw maintenance and safety features and building confidence around safe chainsaw use.

Fraser and Tyler have been busy over the past couple of days with more robotic mower installs completed at holiday homes in Riverton and Te Anau. It’s easy to see why they are so popular, they’re the ultimate holiday house helper!

No arriving to a long grass and a mowing job awaiting you! Your robot keeps the lawns tidy so when you arrive all that’s left to do is relax and enjoy the view. 👌🏼🏡

STOLEN SATURDAY NIGHT 16 May 9:55pm from Stihl Shop Winton. Single cab light blue/grey Ford Courier with a very unique large tipping deck rego CWC738.
Last seen heading south towards Invercargill.

Sadly someone thought they needed our ride on pick up/delivery ute more than we did! Absolutely gutting! Please keep an eye out and let us know if you have any leads.

Police have been notified and given the security footage from our cameras. Case number: P066427357

This morning was another exciting day as we picked up 10 bikes from Stihl Shop Winton. These will be able to be used during school time for those students who do not have a bike at school. Such a great way to increase access to our new pump track.

A huge thanks to Active Southland who were able to provide us with a grant to purchase these bikes. Stihl came to the party with the bikes and even donated a free one as well.
