As a small independent bookseller we aim to stock quality books (ranging in age from antiquarian to near new) at reasonable prices. Our small staff offers personalized service, a wide knowledge of books, and several ordering options. Pegasus Book Club is a list of books updated weekly that we’re offering at special prices for our online followers; both here and on Twitter (). But this isn’t simply a knock-off list of cheap detective fiction and Reader’s Digest annuals – each week our staff are selecting ten books from our vast in-store stock that includes the weird and wonderful, the obscure and obscene, the relevant and revered, and just some downright damn-good reads. To stay abreast of our weekly book club, simply follow us at our Twitter account (link on the sidebar), 'like' our page, or keep checking the Book Club blog on Fridays for the new list of ten books. Each week’s list is accompanied by a simple trivia question that you must answer in person at our shop to identify yourself and take advantage of our delicious deals. Please direct inquiries about the book club to [email protected] or send us a message on Twitter. Book club deals are only available in-store and in-person for the relevant week, but you’re welcome to contact us and inquire about the availability of titles on the list. Eventually we’ll also be providing a free gift once a week to one of our online followers, so follow us on Twitter or Facebook to be in the draw to win.

You can browse and order books through the website at level 3, feel free to get in touch with requests too. From April the 28th onward we will be able to fulfill online and phones sales. Orders placed between then and now will be processed on the 28th.

From the 28th onwards, orders can be collected from our physical storefront without contact. Alternatively we are able to deliver within wellington or post anywhere for a small charge.

To order, check our stock on our website www.pegasusbooksnz.com then email your order to [email protected]. We will then confirm we have the book in stock and payment can be made by bank transfer (providing confirmation of transfer will speed up the process, however do not pay until we have confirmed the book is in stock).
