Confetti Card Studio I'm Vanessa Baker, an avid paper crafter with classes, projects and tips all using Stampin' Up! Living in a small relocatable house with my partner Brendan.

I've swapped city life to live on 1ha in the countryside near Waiuku. We have big plans for our site but we're happy taking our time. We also like to travel together around NZ in our caravan and have a joint interest in photography. I'm very lucky to be able to do what I LOVE so it doesn't feel like work.

I had so much fun creating this camera birthday card for my nephew, combining two of his favourite things – photography and the great outdoors!

I used the beautiful Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper as the backdrop, then added a silver embossed camera with a little wilderness camping scene inside the lens.

There's something so satisfying about a fun fold card that looks impressive but is easier to make than you'd think!

This week I've been creating with the gorgeous Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite, and I couldn't resist turning it into a twisted easel card. The beautiful Designer Series Paper does most of the hard work, while the embossed flowers, soft watercolouring and layered die cuts add plenty of texture and detail. Inspired by Tammy Wilson.

One of my favourite features is the inside. Instead of writing your message on the display panel, this design opens like a traditional card, so your personal message stays private while the card can still be displayed.

You'll also see in my video that I changed my design as I went along. Sometimes the best ideas happen while you're creating!
