Happy New Year Facebook world! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. We've been taking a well needed family break over the holidays. Its lovely to return and see lots of nice comments from customers about their Tweedledee Christmas presents.

Introducing Miss Tui. Made specially for one of my good friends who has a soft spot for our native Tui. She is made with black merino with a blend of glitsy fibres to give an iridescent look. Our daughter has her Poroporoaki from Kohanga Reo today before she heads to big school next week. She is being presented with a Taonga and it has been all shes been talking about for months. She has so much love in her heart and I am so proud of her, she asked me if since she was getting a gift if she could give a gift back to kohanga to say thank you for teaching her to speak Maori. So Mummy stayed up very late last night to finish a special 'Kapa Haka' fairy for her to present. Hopefully it meets her expectations! Made with much aroha from a special mix of merino with flax fibres 💜

I love homemade touches around the house. Finally got round to putting up Finlay's felt ball garland above his cot. Personalised to match his name - all handfelted right here on the Chathams by his mummy 💜

Hello Tweedledee facebook friends! We are back on the Chathams after a wonderful time but busy away in NZ. Over the next few days we will be working on special orders that came in while we were away and also re-stocking Chatham Cottage Gifts who have completely sold out of Tweedledee felted soaps - wow! So nice to know that my little creations are being enjoyed :)
