Kia ora koutou. We hoping you're enjoying time to rest, reflect and enjoy the company of whānau and friends this Matariki weekend. TeAnau Hospice Shop will be open all weekend and we'd love to see you if you're out and about. To celebrate we have a full rack of blue ticket adult clothing on sale for just $3 each and a bin of kids' blue and white ticket clothes for just 50c a piece. In addition, all women's trousers and dresses are 25% off! Ngā mihi.

UPDATE: Thanks for your assistance - the owners has been reunited with the rest of his purchase.
We at TeAnau Hospice Shop would like to speak to a customer who visited today and purchased a machine to enable indoor cycling on a standard bike. After he departed, we discovered a part of this machine had been left behind and we'd like to get it to him ASAP, otherwise it will not work as intended. If this was you or you know who it might have been, please ask him to get in touch with us. He was driving a small cream-coloured car, possibly a Honda. Thanks for your assistance.

Did you know that Hospice Shops provide a significant portion of the funds needed for Hospice South to provide top class, free palliative care in our community? Vital to this is our volunteers and here at TeAnau Hospice Shop we're always keen to hear from anyone willing to pitch in.

Most of our people volunteer a regular shift in the shop, but there are many other ways you can get involved.

Here are just a few of the small jobs that can make a big impact:
* Sewing/Mending (eg sewing on buttons, repairing small tears/holes)
* Polishing silver or brassware
* Cutting up and bagging rags
* Cleaning and tidying displays
* Hardware repairs
* Folding and packaging linen
* Ironing
* Washing
* Sorting and labelling charging cables
... maybe you have a skill or special interest we haven't listed above that you think would be of benefit.

If you've been thinking you'd like to help but can't commit to a regular time or day, come and have a chat to our manager, Kirsty, about the various options that might work for both of us.
