Story Time Sunday🤍 Before Twelve Tables, before becoming a mum to Hugo, and before everything I am today ~ a healthy, happy wife to Nic, I was a 26 year old bride who found out, two weeks before her wedding day, that she had cancer.

Back then, I thought a wedding was about creating the perfect day.

Cancer has a funny way of changing what matters.

It taught me that the people sitting around your tables are the whole point.

The trends change. The details are forgotten.

But that feeling, and all the memories of having all your favs in one place, celebrating your life, your love, your story, that's what stays.

This is why Nic and I love that our business is built around bringing people together to celebrate.

Because after everything, I truly believe the most valuable thing we have isn't money or stuff.

It's time together.

So when we're setting up your wedding, we're not just setting up a beautiful marquee or perfectly paired furniture pieces.

We're creating a space where your people come together to celebrate one of the biggest moments of your life.

Kat + Tan 🤍 The most beautiful at home celebration.

Story Time Sunday... What did we do before Twelve Tables?

Nic was an Area Manager for a large corporate company, focusing on sales, and I (Eliza) was an Event Planner in the corporate world based in Wellington.

When the opportunity came up to take over Twelve Tables, we packed up our lives and moved to Tauranga. Looking back, it feels a little bit crazy, but it's one of the best decisions we've ever made.

The middle photo is us on our very first day at Twelve Tables. The last photo was taken at the end of last year. Looking at them side by side, it's pretty special to think about how far we've come.

Although... we really need some photos from this year. Let me work on that 😜
