✨ Getting to Takapuna Winter Lights - traffic delays and parking ✨
Today is the day! Winter Lights STARTS TONIGHT! So here's a few reminders, tips and important notes about coming along on event nights:

🚌 Takapuna is going to be busy, as will the roads getting in to Takapuna! Are you coming with friends or family? Why not car pool? Or make it an adventure, get together and catch public transport!

🛣️ Using the motorway? There is likely to be queues at Esmonde Rd and Northcote Rd offramps - so consider using other exits, and come in to the area through the surrounding streets! 🧭

🥰 When parking on the street - please be considerate and mindful of driveways and those that need the footpaths for prams, wheelchairs and accessibility.

💗 Please be patient on your way to and from the event - everyone is trying to enjoy some amazing lights and art as a community, together.

Some general reminders:
💳 this is a cashless event, so bring a card 🐕‍🦺 service dogs only - we love seeing your furry friends, but the large crowds expected at this event will not be fun for them, so please leave them at home this time.
