Hi all,

I wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to Tiggy, who is moving on from her Events role with us. Tiggy has picked up a fantastic new opportunity locally, and while we’re sad to see her go, we’re genuinely thrilled for her next chapter.

Over the past 8+ months, she has been absolutely instrumental in the operations of our hobbies events and the shop. Even while we’ve had to pause events since February, she’s been working hard behind the scenes helping prepare our new system for launch. Her dedication, positive attitude, and hard work have made a real difference.

Tiggy, it’s been an absolute pleasure having you on the team. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve done and we’ll definitely be dropping by to say hello soon. Wishing you all the very best in your new adventure! 🥹

Hi all, Hobbies Manager here.

The Hobbies Shop was unexpectedly closed on the 6th of February due to sudden system changes. These changes also affect the Card Machines, as they operate under the same backend process.

As some of you may know, the Hobbies Shop/Mini-Shop has effectively been a long-running trial for Mighty Ape Hobbies. The systems supporting it were originally implemented with a limited scope and weren’t designed to support the scale the shop has since grown to. We’ve now reached those system limits, which has unfortunately resulted in the shop being closed for the time being.

Our intention is to bring the shop back, but at this stage we don’t have a confirmed timeframe. In the interim, our focus is on reactivating Events using currently available systems. These platforms are capable of handling event ticketing to a degree; however, they are not built to support retail shop functionality.

It’s disappointing to have to keep the Hobbies Shop closed while we work through a long-term system solution, but we’ll share updates as soon as we have more clarity. I'll provide an additional update regarding Events specifically as soon as I can.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We might have to put some of our plans on hold for the time being, but we can’t wait to get back up and running once more.

Spiritforged Pre-Rift Event Rescheduled – This Thursday!

Our Riftbound: League of Legends TCG – Spiritforged Pre-Rift Event from last week has been rescheduled to this Thursday starting at 4:00PM! As your know each player gets a Pre-Rift Kit with a Champion deck + 5 Spiritforged boosters to build and battle.

Things to Note:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Hobbies Shop will be closed this weekend. As a result, the scheduled Flesh and Blood and Riftbound: Spiritforged events will not be going ahead.

At this stage, we don’t have details on rescheduling, but we’ll be looking at rescheduling next week. We'll let everyone know once we've got it set in stone~!

We'll be hosting our Second Summoner Skirmish this Sunday. Sign-Ups are recommended as we're only doing a 16 Player Format this time around. Minor adjustment in round formatting due to feedback and Prizes will be available.

PS: Prizes for December Skirmish are available to be collected, unless you've already been in touch otherwise.
