If you would like to buy something special please message or email me. All original artwork are designed, carved and printed in my Ngongotaha studio. All fabric used is pre-washed and the ink is well set. Each block printed item is unique and no two items are exactly the same due to the hand block printing process.

I had the most wonderful visit with my beautiful auntie recently. We sat down for some incredible chats about life, the universe, and everything in between. It was absolutely great to see what she has been creating lately.
This lovely knitted blanket she has been working on, is coming together beautifully, and the colours are just scrumptious!

I always love seeing how others create and find their inspiration.

The Space we Give | Merino Felt

Every vessel in this piece is unique in shape and scale, mirroring the beautiful diversity of our communities. Crafted through friction and pressure, felt perfectly reflects the lived experiences that shape our individual identities.

Look closely and you will see intentional holes in each pot. These represent the parts of ourselves we offer up to others, showing that true connection requires us to be vulnerable and porous. We are not diminished by what we give away; rather, we are defined by the spaces we make for one another.

Weaving them together is a single cord, the pulse of the piece. It represents the shared emotions of love, peace, empathy, and respect that transform individuals into a single whānau, whether bound by blood or chosen connection.

I invite you to contemplate your own "holes" and the cords you extend to those around you.

A Shared Frequency

In this work, the nostalgic form of the rotary telephone is reimagined as a monumental symbol of the lifelines we extend to one another. Standing at a larger-than-life scale, these two textile handsets serve as a testament to the vital role of communication in building and sustaining the foundations of Peace, Love, and Whanau.

At the heart of this piece is the belief that deep love and lasting peace are only possible through a strong grounding in communication. When we truly listen and share ourselves, we deepen the bonds of our whanau. This artwork celebrates the moments of clarity and the shared whispers that bridge the gap between two people, reminding us that being heard is one of the most profound ways to be loved.
