Thank you all for the warm response to my last ad. I've been hard at work on some commissions, included are pictures of a pair of Adventurers Kits I crafted for one customer.

Hi all It’s me that Dice Tray Guy.

First up, here are some pictures of the commissions I completed over the last six months. Thank you so much to all my customers, I hope you all enjoy your purchases.

Christmas is fast approaching, and I have a limited range of travel trays ready to go (details in pictures). There are also plenty of standard trays available in a range of wood species (PM me for further info). Hi all it's me That Dice Tray Guy.

This is a semi-autonomous post to remind you all that I exist.

I am a semi-professional wood worker who specialises in making nerdy accessories out of wood, such as dice trays and DM screens.

Hi all It’s me that Dice Tray Guy.

Apologies for my long absence but I am back, and just in time to get some dice trays out to players in time for Christmas.

I have a small stock of travel trays (see pictures for details) and plenty of standard trays available in a range of wood species.

Hi All, it’s me That Dice Tray Guy!

Wow it's good to be back, selling my wares and chatting with some of the fine people from our fantastic little community 😊

Since my last post, I re-homed many of the discounted travel trays from my "I’m back" sale, whipped up a commission standard tray in walnut with red velvet (very nice), and also found the time to build a stock of five travel trays details in attached photos.

As always I have standard trays ready and available in a range of wood species and I am happy to discuss bespoke commissions if you don’t see anything on my page that meets your vision.

So um “it’s been a while”! At the tail end of last year suffered some burnout, and it took a while for me to find my mojo. Apologies for missing Christmas and other likely gifting occasions but I’m back baby!

To celebrate my hopefully triumphant return to meeting your nerdy accessories requirements I have made a batch of my travel trays that I am offering at the discounted price of $70 per tray (plus shipping).

Hi All, It's me That Dice Tray Guy!

A friend of mine, someone I have sat around a table with and rolled dice in anger, and the first person to pay for a dice tray. Is running a fundraiser, it has 24 hours left to run so I thought I'd put my support behind it a give it a push.

Hi All, it’s me That Dice Tray Guy!

Over the last month or so since I last posted, I have been keeping myself busy by finally building a stock of travel trays. At the time of posting there are five trays available and to keep it simple they have all been made to the same price point of $80 Each. I have two trays in Sapele (it’s a variant of Mahogany) one has black velvet lining and the other has dark purple velvet lining. I have one in American Black Walnut with dark green velvet lining. And there are two in Kauri, one with dark green velvet lining and the other in maroon. The Kauri in these trays has an additional “feature”, some sections of the faces had borer holes, these have been filled with black epoxy. All five trays also have the optional jewelry box clasp. These will be sold on a first come first served basis, I will post updates as the trays sell and will endeavor to build up additional stock in the interim.
In addition to the above, I have also been busy with a few commissions. All four were travel trays although there seems to be an emerging fashion for the wall and faces of the trays to be made from different species. The first tray has Purpleheart walls and Rimu burl faces and dark purple velvet lining. The second is all American Black Walnut with black velvet lining. The third has American Black Walnut walls with Rimu Burl faces. And the last one is a little special - my client requested a travel tray that was twice the size of my normal trays with Purpleheart walls and American Black Walnut faces; they requested maroon velvet lining in one half and purple in the other, and they also requested a slightly better clasp for their tray. This week I thought I’d clarify my pricing structure and make shopping with me a little easier. The following document contains the rationale behind my pricing structure, those of you interested in the ins and outs please read on......

Otherwise the TLDR version
* Standard trays in Rimu start at $40 and travel trays at $60.
* Some wood species cost an additional $10 to $15.
* Fabric lining costs an additional $5
* A jewellery box catch costs an additional $5
* Shipping to the South Island $12 and North Island $17
* Other customisation is available prices negotiable.

Hi all it’s me That Dice Tray Guy.
First up two new species have been added to my range - American Black Walnut and Kauri. Standard trays in both these species start from $50.

As for commission work, you guys seem to love the travel trays as I received multiple orders following my last ad. The optional extra velvet lining has also proven to be extremely popular, thanks to Davina who first requested it =)
I also made a dice pot for a fellow player’s birthday prezzie. Versions of this can be made to order if there is interest.

Despite all the practice travel trays still take a little more time for me to make so will continue to be made to order. But there are plenty of standard trays in stock, see my page for details.

New this week!
I have a limited number of Yew trays available. This is a beautiful warm wood with patches of purple and a peculiar grain structure.

Due to the scarcity of this timber, these trays won't come up very often and are only available without dividers.
