Outer Fl**ge
The grips have a large-diameter outer fl**ge. Jackson wanted this because he felt the fl**ge
helped keep his hands from slipping off the ends of the grip. And, unlike the bar-end donut
things you see on the World Cup, Jackson wanted the outer fl**ge to have a wedge shape, to give him something to push into when cornering.
Raised Palm Pad
Another key design feature is the raised palm pad, which provides added comfort and
ergonomics. The palm pad adds some cushion to an otherwise slim grip while working in
conjunction with the large end-fl**ge. Together, the heel of your palm is locked in between the fl**ge and the palm pad.
Finger Ribs
Finally, the ribs on the underside of the grip provide purchase for your fingertips, whether
you’re hanging on for dear life or pulling for a high-line to win world champs.
