Flow Tyres was formed with the goal of providing quality products, advice and technical support to riders around the country. As the only specialist bike tyre company in New Zealand we are able to focus our product range and knowledge on where it counts, your connection to the ground. ving the right tyre set up is arguably one the most important modifications you can make to your bike. Flow Tyres is a family run business, and we pride ourselves on helping you, the customer. Jason our founder started riding mountain bikes as a kid and has been riding and racing for the last 15 years, he is a self-confessed details/technical geek. If he's not riding his bike he's doing research on all the latest products and tech out there. Jason regularly races in gravity enduro, XC and gravel events around the country and a regular at the 2W Enduro series in Rotorua. He also enjoys bike packing and rode the length of NZ in the inaugural Tour Aotearoa 2016. If you see us out on the gravel around Puhoi or at any bike events or trails, come and say hello. We have a young family so you will also see us out the with the kids on the shotgun seat too.

After a DNF last year Jason is happy to complete the Whaka100 MTB Marathon feeling good once again.

Congratulations to all our customers out there racing and spectating across the whole weekend!

An amazing event that really pulls great trails, awesome riders and an amazing MTB community together! Cheers team! 🍻

This year Jason ran 29x2.2 Continental Cross Kings with the Protection casing.
Fast rolling and plenty of traction to hook up on the challenging and in places muddy course.

🙌 Successful weekend for Jason at The Taniwha race in the mighty Waikato.

Jason dug deep to take 10th overall on the 44km course.

A great bounce back from a month ago where he caught a stomach bug leading into the 100km race. The stomach bug reared its head in the early hours of race day but settled for the start gun. Jason made it 60km before the lack of food and an emergency pit stop led 🤢 to a DNF. Onwards and upwards for Whaka100 2024! ⬆️
