And when you do come to Piha, you definitely shouldn't miss the opportunity to visit the Piha Surf Shop. Located on 122 Seaview Road, you will see the hand crafted wooden sign and the surfboard signs on your right at the driveway entrance as you drive down the hill towards Piha beach.

🚐 Campervan & Tent Sites ⛺️

At Piha Surf, we offer a sunny, flat, grassy area in a private bushy surrounds, where you can pitch your tent or park your campervan/vehicle.

Our basic facilities include a cook-hut, a hot camp shower, and outhouse loos.

Free Wi-Fi is available around the surf shop area from 8:30 am to 8pm.

Relax and enjoy a beautiful Piha sunset from our 'Surf-Check Deck'.

We welcome both self-contained and non-self-contained vehicles. Please note that sites are not powered.

Quiet campers only, please note this is a peaceful spot, not a party venue.

Nightly rate approximatively $30 per person/night (Rates can vary during high peak times)

Looking for a comfortable spot to unwind after a day of surfing or exploring Piha?

At Piha Surf Shop, we offer a fully equipped, modern 25’ caravan— cozy, and perfect for a relaxed stay. It features one queen-size bed and two single beds, with all linen, bedding, and bathroom towels provided for the basic camp shower. The toilet facilities are a clean and tidy outhouse-loo.

Nestled in a quiet, sunny, and private environs, we’re just a short 15-minute walk from Piha Beach, Piha Store, the RSA Club, the Bowling Club, and Piha SLSC.

Nightly rate depends on the number of people, the length of your stay, and also the time of the year (school holidays, Christmas, Easter).
