Ayyy, we know these fine folks!

Mount Maunganui husband and wife Ray and Veronica Diamond are representing New Zealand on the track in Orleans this weekend for the 2026 Men’s Roller Derby World Cup.
Veronica’s fellow NZ women’s roller derby representative Jasmine Cooper – known on track as Monsterella – will help her coach the men’s team, called Kiwi Toa.

Well, we know what WE’RE doing when the weather outside is frightful!

Seriously though - we’re so impressed with these finger scooters from our mates at ! Everything feels solid, the spin on the bars is smooth. We love that every scooter comes with a tiny set of tools! And you can swap out your grips, your wheels - just like on your regular scooter!

Yucky cold or something running through our crew. Kit’s closing up early today, but reinforcements will be in tomorrow to get you sorted with your small wheel needs.

It's our George! So proud of her accomplishments on and off the track - this is her second year representing Aotearoa overseas!

One of our amazing crossover players from Team NZ to Kiwi TOA, what a privilege to have her with us on the road to Orléans. George is ready for the challenge and brings the excitement, speed, power and determination. Always incredible to watch, blink and you’ll miss her. Kiwi TOA is stoked to have Furious George for World Cup 2026.

Wish we had a pic of this one before Jude got his capable hands on it! Deck snapped at the rear axle - the solution was cutting it down past the break, drilling new axle holes, making the channel for the wheel and fender deeper, sanding down the rough edges, and boom - our rider gets to keep doing his thing!
udematthews appreciation post - where would we be without his willingness to jump in and help, his patience and ability to creatively solve problems?

We think it says a lot when a skater chooses the same brand and model THREE times in a row!
Size 4 in black, size 5 in key lime and now size 6 in tea berry pink!
Lovely afternoon catching up with .skates - swapping out CIB blocks and IQWT Park Hopper Pro toe stops because these boots see a lot of action at the park!
Sure Grip Boardwalks, so reliable, so durable and such a sweet deal on them at the moment!!
